Astralis Let Go Of HUNDEN And Kasper Hvidt

Danish CSGO giants Astralis have announced that they have parted ways with their Head Analyst Nicolai “⁠HUNDEN⁠” Petersen and Director of Sports Kasper Hvidt

Astralis made headlines on Wednesday with a series of sweeping changes to their management staff. The organization decided to cut ties with Kasper Hvidt, the Director of Sports who had been in charge since 2017. Additionally, they terminated the contract of Nicolai “HUNDEN” Petersen, who held the position of Head Analyst for the past six months.

Organizational changes: Astralis and Kasper Hvidt have parted ways after a six-year partnership. In addition, the contract with Head Analyst Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen has been terminated as of today.

HUNDEN and Hvidt were involved in one of the most controversial moves in Danish esports history. The 32-year-old had been officially working as an Astralis employee since January 2023, but veteran journalist Richard Lewis revealed that he had signed a contract with Astralis years earlier when he already had a contract with Heroic.

It was also alleged that HUNDEN had shared sensitive information about Heroic with Astralis. Hvidt offered HUNDEN a contract, knowing he was still an Heroic employee, and according to reports, he encouraged HUNDEN to poach Heroic’s best talents for Astralis. HUNDEN regularly contacted Hvidt when he was at HEROIC and passed on classified information.
