Set to take place from December 13 to 17, the tournament is poised to bring the curtain down on the second half of the season, acting as a prelude to the winter break of tier-one competitive Counter-Strike.

The race for a portion of the $1 million prize money in Abu Dhabi will feature eight teams. As of now, three teams have already secured their positions: FaZe, who claimed the title at ESL Pro League Season 17; Vitality, the winners of BLAST.tv Paris Major; and Heroic, who emerged victorious at the BLAST Premier Spring Final.

According to Liquipedia, the remaining five spots in the tournament will be determined based on the BLAST Leaderboard, a special ranking system by the tournament organizer. G2 currently holds the top position on the leaderboard among the teams not yet qualified, followed by Natus Vincere and ENCE.

The winners of ESL Pro League Season 18 and BLAST Premier Fall Final will claim the remaining two spots in the tournament. If any of the three teams already qualified manage to win either tournament, nonetheless, the extra spot will be determined by the Leaderboard.
