Ten tier-2 teams from the EMEA region will heat up the VCT Ascension EMEA 2023
The highly esteemed EMEA region finally has an Ascension tournament in 2023 after FOKUS was selected as the play-ins champion. The prevailing squad of this event will see themselves securing a spot in Valorant’s international leagues. The group stage of this exciting tournament will take place between the 30th of June to the 4th of July, while the playoffs are set to be held from July 13th to July 16th.

VCT Ascension EMEA – Prize
The champion will qualify for the 2024 & 2025 Valorant EMEA League. The total prize money in US Dollars is yet to be announced.
VCT Ascension EMEA – Format
Teams from the two round-robin format groups will compete in the group stage, with all matches being best-of-three. The top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs, while the others are eliminated. The playoffs will be held in a double-elimination bracket, with all matches being best-of-three as well. Finally, the lower-bracket Final and Grand Final are exciting best-of-5 matches.
